Wave
Wave power is a sustainable and renewable energy. Wave power is the capture of energy of wind waves to do useful work - for example, electricity generation, water desalination, or pumping water.

In the game
In the game Climate Cooldown, "Wave" is a sustainable Power card that helps enable you to divest from unsustainable Power cards like "Petroleum." The motion of waves is initiated when the wind traverses the surface of the ocean. As long as the waves travel at a velocity lower than the wind speed immediately above them, the energy from the wind is effectively transferred to the waves.
